Zebra White Wash

Aphelandra Squarrosa ' White Wash'

Aphelandra Squarrosa 'White Wash' is a variety of the popular, pet friendly, 'zebra plant'. It is characterised by white/beige leaves with spots of green and strong veining and undulating leaves. It's a hard to come by variety that will stand out in any collection.

The most common form of Apehlandra Squarrosa is characterised by its dark glossy green leaves which are marked by white stripes.

'White Wash' originated from crossing Aphelandra squarrosa cultivar and Aphelandra squarrosa ‘Snow White’ and it was conducted in 2011 in the Netherlands.

Aphelandra will thrive in a bright spot and although it can tolerate shade it won't flower if its not given enough light.
